Context
A customer from the Middle East is looking to customize a 150ml ketchup bottle. The available bottles on the market do not meet their requirements, so they have requested a custom mold to produce a long-necked glass ketchup bottle.
Challenge
Unlike standard ketchup bottles, this design features a long, slender neck. During the blowing process, material can accumulate at the neck, leading to uneven thickness. When filled with ketchup, the details of the bottle become clearly visible, presenting unique challenges in its production.
Result
To ensure uniformity and quality in production, we optimize the glass raw materials for a more consistent melt, free of impurities, and with enhanced transparency. We carefully control the surrounding temperature during the blowing process to prevent temperature discrepancies that could lead to uneven cooling—avoiding areas that cool too quickly and become thicker, or too slowly and become thinner. Additionally, we implement stringent quality control procedures. After the initial machine screening, any glass bottles that do not meet the required standards are manually inspected and selected to ensure the highest product quality and full compliance with customer specifications.
