Glass heritage

Sometimes it takes years for the significance of an event to be fully understood, like the founding of the Roetell in China in 1984.It was all about craftsmanship and pride back then, and it still is today, after 39 years of being part of the China glass industry. Stronger than ever, we will continue to anchor a foundation of craftsmanship and quality for generations to come.
That same spirit of innovation in glassmaking lives on today, as our more than 100 employees work with our clients and partners to define the future of glass packaging. With our own design team, we remain dedicated to the qualities that endeared our CEO Roe to glass in the first place: its beauty, versatility, and endless sustainability.

1984
Xuzhou Baduan Glassware Co., Ltd. was established in 1984, a regional collective enterprise.
1984
1997-2004
Established Xuzhou Hualian Glassware Co., Ltd. at the original site with 600 employees.
1997-2004
2008
In 2008, Jiangsu Rongtai Glassware Co., Ltd. was established. A complete production chain was formed by molding factory, carton factory and factory of caps and closures.

2009
In October 2009, Rongtai moved from a collective factory to a new factory, covering an area of 3.3 million square feet, investing in new equipment and 6 automatic production lines. Environmental protection such as denitrification, desulfurization and dust removal was well organized.

Pass ISO9000 certification.

In 2014, Rongtai was awarded as a model and trustworthy enterprise by Jiangsu Province, and received strong support from the government.

In 2017, 6 million RMB was invested in the environmental transformation, by introducing natural gas burning, to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and respond to national environmental protection call.
